About Us
iCeutica is a pharmaceutical reformulation company involved in developing and commercialising a range of reformulated products aimed at delivering significant performance improvements over their commercial comparators.
iCeutica’s reformulated product pipeline is being developed both internally and through partnerships. iCeutica has reformulated two drugs that are being prepared for entering Phase III clinical trials (both partnered), one drug entering Phase II clinical trial (internally developed and owned), two entering Phase I trials (one partnered and one developed and owned by iCeutica) and has a pipeline of new opportunities for near term clinical development.
History
The iCeutica venture resulted from a project conducted at the University of Western Australia during 2003, and leveraged knowledge developed in association with the Western Australian resources industry and its recognised excellence in mineral processing operations.
Whilst the applicability of dry milling for crushing large inorganic materials such as rocks had long been established in the resources industry, initial work was undertaken to assess the applicability of dry milling technology to more delicate, predominantly organic compounds, such as pharmaceuticals. The objective was to reduce the particle size of pharmaceuticals to the nano scalesize (approximately 1/200th the width of a human hair), and thereby make them suitable for reformulation into new pharmaceutical products with improved properties.
The Company has rapidly advanced the optimisation and scaling up of its SoluMatrix reformulation platform and is currently developing for commercialisation a pipeline of pharmaceutical products reformulated using its proprietary platform.
The Company is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with operations also in Perth, Western Australia.
