iCeutica has a very experienced key management team who have collectively been responsible for the development and/or launch of more than 10 nanotechnology based products. Outlined below are brief summaries of the key team members:
Matthew Callahan MBA LLB (Hons)
President and CEO
Mr Callahan is the founding CEO of iCeutica and a co-inventor of some of the technologies that comprise the SoluMatrix™ technology. He has more than 15 years legal, licensing and investment management experience and was the founding CEO of Dimerix Bioscience and is a director of Glycan Bioscience and Orthocell.
Mr Callahan has worked as an investment director for two venture capital firms investing in life sciences, clean technology and other sectors. He was General Manager and General Counsel with Australian listed technology company ipernica where he was responsible for the licensing programs that have generated more than $60M in revenue. Mr Callahan leads the business development and general operations of iCeutica.
Dr Bill Bosch BA PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr Bosch is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, focusing on applications of nanotechnology to drug product development. Prior to joining iCeutica in 2007 he was Director of Pharmaceutical Research at Elan Corporation where he managed the development activities for four commercial products which incorporate nanotechnology. Dr Bosch was a co-founder of NanoSystems LLC in 1995 and a co-inventor of NanoCrystal® Technology.
Dr Paul Nemeth PhD
Vice President, Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs
Dr Nemeth is responsible for the design and execution of clinical programs, regulatory strategies, interactions with regulatory bodies internationally, and quality assurance. Prior to joining iCeutica in 2011 he was Global Head of Regulatory Affairs with AstraZeneca and also Vice President of Emisphere and Solstice Neurosciences.
Dr Mike Riebe PhD
Vice President, Research and Development
Dr Riebe is responsible for SoluMatrix™ technology development and all CMC activities including GMP manufacturing of iCeutica’s products. He is a former Senior Scientific Director with Merck and Executive Director with GSK, and is recognized internationally as an expert in respiratory product development. Dr Riebe has led a number of cross functional international development teams responsible for the launch of oral and respiratory products in a variety of therapeutic areas.
