Matthew Callahan MBA LLB (Hons)

Executive Director, CEO

Mr Callahan is an experienced entrepreneur, lawyer and intellectual property specialist with approximately 10 years’ licensing experience in the US, Australia and Germany. He was the founding CEO of iCeutica and has led the business development, licensing and intellectual property development activities for the Company since its inception.

Mr Callahan has also worked as an investment director for two Australian venture capital firms, investing in life sciences, industrials and other sectors. He is a former General Manager and General Counsel for listed technology commercialisation company ipernica Limited (ASX:IPR), a former founding CEO of Dimerix Bioscience Pty Ltd and a former Director of Glycan Biosciences Inc. Mr Callahan is currently a non-executive Director of Orthocell Pty Ltd, a venture capital-backed cell therapies company.

Bill Bosch PhD

Executive Director/Chief Scientific Officer

Dr Bosch has more than 17 years’ scientific innovation and leadership experience in the US pharmaceutical product development and drug delivery industry. Prior to joining iCeutica, Dr Bosch was Director of Pharmaceutical Research for Elan Corporation, where he managed the formulation development activities for both TriCor® and Megace® ES, products which were subsequently launched by Abbott Laboratories and Par Pharmaceuticals respectively. He was also a co-inventor of the Emend® commercial formulation, which was subsequently launched by Merck. Dr Bosch was a founder of NanoSystems LLC (a company acquired by Elan Corporation) and co-inventor of the incumbent NanoCrystal® technology.

At iCeutica, Dr Bosch is responsible for managing the scientific operations of the Company, including all technology and clinical development functions.

Luwei Zhao BS, MS, PhD

Director Formulation Development

Dr Zhao has over 20 years' experience in pharmaceutical product research, formulation development and manufacturing. Prior to joining iCeutica, Dr Zhao worked in pharmaceutical development at PTC Therapeutics and Sanofi Aventis, where he managed multiple internal projects as well as several projects outsourced to Contract Research Organisations and Contract Manufacturing Organisations in the USA and Canada.

Adrian Russell BSc, PhD

Manager Research and Development

Dr Russell manages iCeutica’s Perth research operations. Prior to joining iCeutica, Dr Russell worked with GlaxoSmithKline Singapore in the characterisation and manufacture of organic pharmaceutical solids, as well as technology transfer and the application of new processing technology to pharmaceutical solids manufacture. He is also a former Senior Scientist at the Centre for Drug Candidate Optimisation at Monash University in Melbourne.
